Being a Personal Trainer is an amazing thing. We can have huge influence on peoples’ lives!

However, in today’s age of limitless (miss)information, social media, and fitness influencers, the standard of the fitness industry is at an all time low.

There is so much noise between people fighting to be seen that it’s nearly impossible to hear the whisper from coaches and trainers actually helping their clients.

 

Health First Strength Coaching is for those who want to actually help their clients.

 

After all, that’s why we got into the field!

We fell in love with health and fitness and how it can improve our lives and decided we wanted to use it to help others.

 

So, that is what we will cover.

What is Health First Strength Coaching?

It is being able to go beyond the weight room to help your clients.

 

Not only is it about being a Top Tier Trainer and expert with exercise selection, execution, and coaching.

It’s about being able to help with the other aspects of health so nothing can hold back your clients from reaching their goals.

  • Nutrition
  • Sleep
  • Neurology

These are the 4 aspects of health that, when unlocked, will make all goals achievable.

 

 

The 4 Buckets of Health:

Once you get any experience as a personal trainer you will notice clients bringing up plenty of topics not involving fitness but very much influencing their fitness goals.

– Coach, “Hey Client! Ready to crush it today?”

– Client, “Hey Coach, I didn’t sleep great last night. Maybe we can take it a little easier today?”

Or

– Client, “Hey Coach, what do you think of [Insert Fad Diet Name]?”

 

What about the clients who want to lose body fat but have no understanding of what nutrition should look like?
What about the clients who want to gain strength or muscle mass but are too stressed out to recover and adapt to training?

 

Do you think we’ll be able to improve our clients’ fitness when they go home and don’t sleep?

Will clients lose weight if they sleep poorly on a regular basis and throw off their hormones?

Are clients able to make the right nutrition decisions when stress is controlling their brains?

 

Fitness, nutrition, sleep, and neurology all impact one another and can make or break goal achievement.

 

I call them the Buckets of Health!

 

A Health First Strength Coach can identify and fill the bucket holding someone back from their goals.

 

This is a whole new level of personal training and will skyrocket client results and retention.

 

 

Going Beyond The Weight Room:

 The weight room is awesome, but let’s be honest, we only see our clients 1-3 maybe 4 hours a week. That is not enough time to make real changes.

Unless our clients are already doing everything right outside of the gym, which is unlikely, they won’t see the results they want.

But they are hiring us to help them get those results.

 

We must be able to go beyond the weight room with what we can do to help.

 

That is what I am dedicated to helping you with.
